PAIN OBJECTS

These are a series of artworks that I have been producing for years, one of the main objectives is to explore and experiment between concepts and techniques, work with unconventional materials and that there is a concordance between the object and the material... I call them Pain Objects because they are works somehow related to pain and death. I´am interested in the concept and aesthetics working together, and the artwork being satirical and creating controversy. The part that I enjoy the most about this whole process is the additional effort required to work with animal skin, rose thorns, collect onion skins, etc. and continue planning to give another meaning to the existence of these unlikely materials.
