REALISM

Paintings and drawings made in a more classical way in my desire to perfect my technique and color; thus, the ¾ human structure project was born. Large-scale portraits with interventions of collage, silkscreen, etc. The portrait in the artistic field has prevailed in the course of time, not only because of the value of representing the factions of the portrayed, but also as the record of the historical formation of a society. At the same time, I was working, still are, on a series of paintings, re-interpretations of peruvian master paintings such as el Habitante de la Cordillera, 3 Races, Santusa and more with the desire to bring these iconic paintings to a current reality; for this project I used photographic sketches which were achieved after a lot of planning, making sets, looking for suitable places to take the pictures and summoning many people to support as models.
